Who it suits
The LECTRO is a lake and sheltered-bay day boat for people who want space rather than pace. Eight seats on a 6.1 m hull is a lot, and the catamaran layout is what makes that work: a 2.53 m beam on a boat this short produces a deck area closer to an 8 m monohull. That makes it a credible choice for family day use, small charter operations, hotel and campsite fleets, and anyone on water where a 10-knot limit applies anyway.
Reading the specification
Twenty kilowatt-hours against a 10 kW motor is a well-matched pairing. At continuous full output the pack would run for about two hours, and since almost nobody cruises at full throttle, a relaxed day of pottering is a reasonable expectation — though the yard does not publish a range figure or a consumption curve, so that remains inference rather than fact. Ask for range at 5 and 8 knots before committing.
Caveats
Clear Marine builds mostly combustion boats and the LECTRO is its only electric model, so the depth of electric-specific service support is worth probing. The model also once had a dedicated website that is now dead, which is a mild signal about how much attention it currently receives. No price is published.
