A dinghy, priced as a design object

Everything about the Cava 350's specification says short-hop tender: 3.6 metres, 170 kg, a 1 kW motor and 5 knots. The 1.3 kWh battery is the figure to sit with — at full power that is roughly an hour of running, and considerably more at the part throttle a tender actually uses, but it is a pack sized for ship-to-shore trips and quiet evenings on a lake, not for a day's cruising. Treat any journey longer than a couple of miles as outside the design brief.

Who it suits

Owners of a larger yacht who want a silent, light, davit-friendly tender, and lakeside houses wanting something simple that charges from a domestic socket. At 170 kg it is within reach of two people and a small crane or a slipway trolley.

The price question

€16,900 is a lot for 3.6 metres, and buyers should be clear that they are paying for Finnish build quality and design rather than capability — a comparable-size inflatable with an electric outboard costs a fraction of it. Jade publishes no range figure and no charging time, and sells through a web form rather than a dealer network, so expect to do the diligence yourself: ask for endurance at cruising speed, charge time from a standard socket, and what warranty covers the battery.
