The solar contribution is best understood as extending a slow day rather than replacing shore charging — helpful on a moored boat over a week, not a substitute for a plug.
Who it suits
Owners who cruise slowly and want to stop worrying about range: inland waterways, sheltered coasts, long lazy days. The 15-knot ceiling exists, but the whole design logic points at the 6-knot figure. Anyone wanting to plane or tow should look elsewhere.
Caveats
LASAI publishes no prices at all, which makes independent comparison impossible. A dealer figure of roughly €99,830 circulates, but it conflicts with the builder's own specifications and should not be treated as the price of this boat — get a written quotation naming the exact configuration. Note also that the registered company name uses the Roman numeral XXI, frequently miswritten as XXL in listings, which matters when you are checking company records or warranty documents.
